The Web Design Contest is about honoring excellence in the Web profession. The Web Design Contest is also about empowering the creative, technically proficient and future business-savvy Web professionals.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

The Web Design Contest provides opportunities for contestants, judges and interested parties to:

1. Recognize excellence and professionalism in the field of web design and web development

2. Enhance communication among industry professionals and aspiring web professionals

3. Stimulate the continued growth of the Web by providing a forum for the raising of new ideas

DEADLINES, ELIGIBILITY AND FEES

KEY DATES:

5th January 2015: Open for registration

10th January 2015: Last day for registration

10th January 2015: Competition briefing and topic selection

16th January 2015: Design presentation

17th January 2015: Judging

19th January 2015: Winners' announced

ELIGIBILITY:

Working web professionals and students. Entry can be as a team, however fee is charged per person.

ENTRY FEES:

INR 550.00 per person

JUDGING PROCESS

Design briefs will be judged based on Design thinking (I.e. thought processes and insights), Commercial awareness, Pleasing looks, Presentation, and Original.

AWARDS

One of the purpose of SONARISA Design Contest is to offer practical and financial support to young designers starting out on their careers. The award for the winners - a cash award or a free internship. These are distributed at the jury's discretion.

CASH AWARDS

These awards are flexible, will be communicated during registration.

INTERNSHIP AWARDS

These take the form of free internship a period of six months work experience with our organization.
